Description

This is a black and white version of Mikes watercolour and stencil painting. We found that this made a much more striking image than the colour version at the size needed to create a card.

The card depicts the cranes which line Bristol's docks, no longer in use, now a part of Bristol's history.

This painting is a combination of watercolour and spray-stencil. The image is drawn and cut as one or more stencils. A loose splattery watercolour underpainting is made and the stencils are then sprayed over the top providing definition and shading.

The image is mounted onto brown recycled card and comes with a matching envelope, it is blank inside for your own message.
