This is from a series of lino cuts I completed earlier in the year, describing British butterflies. I love, not only the intricate variation in markings, but also the shapes and vibrant colours which make our native butterflies brighten up our summers. I'm seeing more and more species in my garden each year as they miraculously reappear as the climate allows them to flourish.

The butterflies are hand printed on to coloured pastel paper, and hand finished in ink to accurately depict their markings.

The print measures 11cm x 14cm and is sold unframed.
