Poppies and Corn Mandala By Jane, Patterns and mandalas

The word mandala means circle, and is usually used to describe a pattern created in the form of a circle which in some way depicts the universe. Jane chose to create a mandala which describes a tiny part of the universe. We are a tiny part, so it's relevant to me, it's my universe.

This, Jane's third mandala, shows a meadow, with corn, poppies, red campion, mice and butterflies.

It is hand printed in three colours on to hand made paper made from hemp or lokta.

The print measures 24cm square.
